Pacific Custom Systems has been developing high speed data products for over 5 years. Our recent products are divided into two topic areas:

Telecom Interfaces

* TIP-431 is a PCI interface board to capture or playback CEPT Level 3 and CEPT Level 1 signals between coaxial cables and a personal computer. It can be specially configured to also perform HDLC extraction, such as for Frame Relay.

* T3IO is a PCI interface board to capture and/or playback Bell Level 3 signals between coaxial cables and a personal computer. It ships with both driver software and a disk capture/playback application software.

* C54CAM is a PCI DSP processor board based on the Texas Instruments TMS320LC548 processor (80 MIPS), that also has two sets of content-addressable memory (CAM). This board can be especially useful for processing Internet packets, for recognizing desired sets of TCP/IP addresses, and for keyword recognition in text streams.

* PostMaster combines the T3IO board with specialized software to provide a solution to monitor e-mail for such purposes as corporate policy enforcement. Using a direct T3 connection at 45 Mbps, all e-mail is extracted and checked against a database of (e.g. inappropriate) keywords. Those e-mail messages that provide a match are then forwarded to a special location for external review.

* SpamSniffer uses a custom board and specialized software to provide a solution to unwanted e-mail ("spam") for an ISP with OC-12 (622 Mbps) connections to the Internet.

Racal Storeplex Recorder Interfaces

* RSP-100 is a PCI interface board that separates Racal Storeplex recorder outputs into 64 channels and stores the channel data to separate disk files. This board can acquire the full 50 Mbps signal rate in a single pass, including storage to local disk drives. It ships with both driver software and a disk capture application software.

* TAXI-100 is the newest PCI interface board that separates Racal Storeplex recorder outputs into 64 channels and stores the channel data to separate disk files. This board works directly with the raw TAXI signal used between separate units of the Racal Storeplex recorder, permitting the units to be separated and freeing up space to permit all 64 channels to be used in the second frame. This board can acquire the full 50 Mbps signal rate in a single pass, including storage to local disk drives. It ships with both driver software and a disk capture application software.
